Activities in our Adult Day Health Center
Our activities are designed to promote friendship, mobility, mental stimulation and a strong feeling of purpose. Programs are designed to meet the needs of our residents and participants. Activities available at the center include exercise groups, current event discussions, trivia games, religious services, bowling, cook-outs, bingo, painting and much more. Alternate activities are always available at any time during the day for those people whose interests may differ.
Activities in our Skilled Nursing Center
We provide a stimulating, carefully supervised environment which is structured to meet the unique needs of older adults with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia's. Social interaction with new friends contributes to a sense of well-being and the group setting promotes feelings of anticipation and achievement. Blaire House offers a full schedule of failure-free activities to encourage participation and activate long term memory: exercise, reminiscence, basic word games, bowling, ring toss, knitting, crocheting, videos and lots of music and fun!
