Blaire House annually holds “The Taste of Milford”, which brings together a variety of restaurants in the Milford area for a night of tasting their specialties in order to raise funds for the Tri Valley Elder services – an agency that coordinates various senior care programs in this area. After participants purchase their “dinner” ticket, it’s on to samplings of the best cuisine Milford has to offer. This event is well attended and enjoyed by many.

 

Blaire House annually holds a craft fair in May with proceeds from the refreshment and raffle tables, as well as the table rental fees, going to the Visiting Nurses’ Association. Crafters from all over the area display their wares. This event is very popular as the winter blues are past and spring is in full bloom. There are beautiful knits, jewelry, woodworking and candles on display for those in attendance.

 

 

 

This is an evening where invited guests from Milford and surrounding areas are invited to partake of some delicious hot and cold tidbits cooked up by our Food Service Director, Nick Hadges. There is wine and some wonderful desserts. At the conclusion of the evening, Blaire House makes a donation to the Tri Valley Elder Services to support their programs to seniors in the Milford area.
