Letters from Families
To All the Staff in the Rehab Dept, Thank you all for your dedication to the residents at Blaire House. During my father’s short stay there, he was treated with utmost respect and dignity. You can’t ask for more. He is not settled at Beaumont in Northbridge quite yet, but seems to be a little more positive, Northbridge being home his whole life.
During this difficult time for our whole family – you helped to ease some of the burdens we bear. May God continue to bless…day by day…you all in your very important work.
Sincerely,
Nancy Norberg and the Zywien Family (daughter of Emil Zywien)
To the Staff at Blaire House, (Especially Bernadette, Pat & Elisa) You made all the difference! You saved the day! And you helped a special family in crisis! Thank you for your assistance in providing respite care to Mr. John Blair. I called on you the day after Thanksgiving – when your staff was surely limited – and you shined! You made the transition for this family as easy as possible and by doing this, provided the safe, caring environment he needed. Thank you for all you did to ensure a dignified end to Mr. Blair’s journey here on earth. You’re wonderful!
Fondly,
Kerri McManama, LCSW, VNA care Network Hospice
Dear Blaire House Employees, I am Ken Blackmore’s sister-in-law. My husband and I visited Ken twice a week. In years gone by, I worked at Framingham Union Hospital and know that nursing is not an easy job. I’m writing this letter to thank everyone for the excellent care Ken received. The tall boy from Jamaica was especially kind to Ken. The work that you do affects so many lives! May God bless each and every one of you.
Sincerely, Arlene Blackmore

To Whom It May Concern,
I recently spent some time in the sub acute unit of the Blaire House. It was a wonderful experience. I wish to commend your staff for their professionalism; from the administrative people and nurses, as well as the physical trainers, to the people on the personnel care staff. All made my stay wonderful. You should be very proud of them all. Please accept my personal thanks to them for their care and understanding.
Yours very truly, Stephen J. Petak
Mrs. Mancuso,
My father, Richard Hammann, was at the Blaire House facility for four short days. His passing on Wednesday morning, July 19th was a shock and a very sad day for all of us. My father, my family and friends were all treated with dignity and respect. The staff(all) was remarkable and very compassionate towards my Dad and all of my family. The nurses, CNA’s, doctors, cleaning people; everyone showed their kindness and care. My two brothers and I stayed three nights and we were given mattresses and blankets, food in the AM and PM. My heart goes out to the men and woman who helped Richard and also helped me in a time of confusion and deep sadness. Please post this letter on the dementia unit side and give my love to all.
Thank you Steve, Jim, Tanya, Leslie, Celia, Sandy, Stephanie…And all I don’t know their names. God bless you all, my father is at peace!
A friend, Patrick Hammann
