Brandon Woods offers a Alzheimer's Dementia Information Circle, a support group for families and other interested parties. We discuss a variety of issues, important information and tips that are helpful with caring for the Alzheimer’s or Dementia individual or just trying to understand the disease. Here is a sampling of topics we cover at our support group meetings: medications, dealing with behaviors, safety and preventing elopement, successful activities, dealing with guilt, end of life issues and health care proxies. This group meets the last Tuesday of the month at Brandon Woods between 5:00 and 6:00 pm.
