 At Blaire House Assisted Living Center we have the third floor of our building dedicated to those with beginning Alzheimer's disease. We have twelve units in place for the special care of these seniors with the need for a secure and safe environment. There is twenty four hour staffing with Alzheimer's certified staff and a specialized activities program. To ensure the safety of our residents on this floor, there is a wander guard system on the elevator as well as front and back secured doors. Families can feel certain that their loved ones are in a home-like environment, with caring, qualified staff, around the clock.
Our Skilled Nursing Center is now offering a dedicated Dementia Unit. Residents of this unit will have specialized care, and a secure, safe setting. We recognize that seniors suffering from Dementia illnesses have different needs at varying stages. We're answering that need with a specialized unit within our nursing center.
