Frank Romano opened the breakfast discussing the budget impact on Seniors, Nursing Facilities
and the quality of services provided.
Scott Plumb, Senior Vice President of Mass Senior Care, spoke of the aggressive ad campaign
launched in April 2010 in the Boston Globe by the Massachusetts Senior Care Association.
He spoke of issues involving: Taking Personal Responsibility for Long Term Care, Better Managing
the Care of Frail Seniors and Closing the Medicaid Funding Gap.
"Central Mass is very wealthy in quality long term care facilities. I am a consumer and I know how good you are."
commented Senator Harriette Chandler during her legislative address.
Senator Michael Moore addressed current bills to support senior care.
