Craft Fair - Saturday October 25, 2008 10AM - 3:00PM.
Join us at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth for our 4th Annual Craft Fair with proceeds going to the Dartmouth and New Bedford food pantries. Local crafters will display their products. Refreshments, face painting and music. Good times are enjoyed by all. What better way to start your holiday shopping. Donation is $5.00 (Facility to match cash donations) or a $5.00 dollar non-perishable food donation. Children under 5 are free. Taste of the Southcoast:
This event benefits the Coastline Elderly Services and Meals on Wheels. Over 500 people from the community are in attendance to sample specialty items from about 45 local restaurants. The "Taste of.." is a huge success, with all proceeds going to a good cause.
Christmas Party:
Every year at Christmas time, Brandon Woods throws its annual Christmas party and is attended by residents, family members and staff. An elaborate menu is served, including shrimp cocktail, scallops and bacon, stuffed mushrooms, other assorted hot hors d'oeuvres and assorted pastries. There are approximately 250 people that join us for this festive occassion.
Throughout the year bake sales and flower sales, held in our lobby, are open to the public and all proceeds benefit the Resident Activity Fund.
Not only is Brandon Woods of Dartmouth dedicated to serving its 118-bed population, it is interested in serving the community and the elderly's generalized needs as well.
