Mr. Forest,
I wanted to take a moment to write you informing you of the great assistance
she provided to me this past week. We had a patient who was an Alzheimer's
patient we were looking to place. She was able to provide a bed that day,
although there were numerous barriers to admissions. The patient has
disenrolled from Tufts and as it was the second of the month computers were
not showing the update. With patience and perseverance she worked with me to
discharge the patient. Saving the hospital and most importantly finding an
appropriate placement for the patient who was here until almost 6pm. Most
of the other screeners would have left this for another day, but she was
determined to everyone's benefits.
Since Victoria has taken the position as admissions coordinator I find I
have sent more patients to both of your facilities and have also found a
readier market at both your Dartmouth and New Bedford Campus. She is
wonderful to work with, has a great handle on the needs of the building and
has brought an increase communication that has helped me with placement on
numerous occasions. This past TTuesday she was a real God send. I want to
say thank you for her services and her ability to make admissions happen.
