Adult Day Health Services
Our program enables each participant to keep living independently and safely. This program offers family caregivers the opportunity to keep working and have peace of mind that your loved one is in a safe and stimulating environment. Medical professionals are overwhelmingly endorsing and promoting these programs. The Adult Day Health Centers serve private paying individuals as well as contracting with Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration, Blue Cross and select managed care providers.
Alzheimer’s Specialty Services
Families trying to deal with Alzheimer’s disease’s devastating effects are subject not only to the trauma of the loved one’s symptoms, but their own helplessness, lack of knowledge, and frustration. Discouragement, and the very human responses of guilt and anger, can often lead to despair.

Our division of Home Care is dedicated to helping you manage your own care in the privacy of your home. We are committed to health education, answering your questions, caring for you and monitoring your health care and personal needs. Our caregivers respect your privacy while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our caregiver screening process strives to select the right person for you.
Pain and Wound Management
The aim of pain management in the elderly is to relieve pain and improve your quality of life. Controlling pain may allow you to work or do your usual activities. Caregivers may need to treat your pain and its causes by using medicines. These medicines work by blocking pain signals going to the brain or by changing how the brain interprets pain signals. Almost all types of pain can be controlled. Work together with your caregiver to decide the best pain control treatment for you.

Across the country, a growing number of individuals are faced with caring for their elderly parents. Our Family Respite Program offers a brief relief, or “respite,” from caring for an older family member. Many families are faced with difficult decisions, such as how to take a vacation while at the same time maintaining their responsibility of caring of an older relative.
We offer seniors transportation to and from our Adult Day Health Centers in our state-of-the-art buses and 12-passenger vans, which are air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. All of our drivers are DOT, CPR and First Aid certified as well as trained to be sensitive to the particular needs of our participants. We provide transportation for medical appointments, leisure activities, personal appointments, shopping trips, and cultural experiences. Our vehicles are also available to the public for group trips.

The life changing diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease can be a difficult reality for any family to face. But when the emotional strain of dealing with the disease is shared in a support group, coping becomes more manageable. Our support groups help family members and friends of people with Alzheimer’s disease share feelings and concerns on the disease and other related dementia disorders. Our groups offer encouragement and information for families and caregivers, who also gain practical help by learning about community services.
