Whether due to an accident, sports injury, stroke, tumor, or one of countless other causes, chances are you, or someone you know, has been affected by a brain injury. West Side House is here to help provide families and caregivers with resources and support.

West Side House offers comprehensive services addressing neurobehavioral complications and rehabilitation needs, including specialized medical, nursing care. We have the services and dedication to make the difference. Our goal is to ensure each individual receives the care that best meets his or her unique challenges. Our person-centered approach provides support for individuals and other family members through education and training.

West Side House offers individualized attention through our interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists/​psychiatrists, behavioral specialists, mental health counselors, and physical, speech, and occupational therapists.

Each participant has an individualized service plan developed and imple­mented by our interdisciplinary team. Individual service plans are frequently updated through the team meeting process involving the participant, family or guardian.

Our therapeutic recreation program utilizes functional intervention, education and recreational participation. This allows individuals to maintain the skills, knowledge and behaviors that will allow them to enjoy their leisure time. At West Side House we understand this and we pledge to work tirelessly to help participants maximize their life skills and functional independence.
